The yellow-throated longclaw has a broad black breast band with black streaks on the sides of the breasts; sexes are alike. The flight photo (Grumeti-Serengeti) and the right lower photo (Mara River) are courtesy of Paul Oliver. Both 2nd row adults were in Burigi-Chato NP. The left 3rd row adult and the right 3rd row juvenile were seen at Pembe Abwe; the left 4th row adultwas taken in the Serengeti, courtesy of Sadik Kassam; the other birds were in Emayani, Nyamalumbwa and Pembe Abwe.
