These photo of a male red-headed malimbe were taken in the Kakamega Forest, Kenya, courtesy of Anabel Harries (upper), Per Holmen (middle) and Isaac Kilusu. The female is similar except the forehead is black. It is uncommon In Tanzania in the forests of the northwest. |
