The common ringed plover is a palearctic migrant which is found throughout most of sub-saharan Africa and is identified by the white collar, complete or almost complete dark breast band and orange legs. The upper photo was taken at Emayani. The breeding adult was seen at Pembe Abwe (left 2nd row). The lower 2 photos were taken in Mikumi NP; the others, at Pembe Abwe.
