The pacific golden plover is an uncommon palearctic migrant to the Tanzanian coast. There is a flock that winters in the Tana Delta but otherwise they are uncommon along the Kenyan and Tanzanian coast, rare inland. The upper two adults were seen in Hawaii. The 3rd and 4th row photos were taken at Lake Magadi (10-13), courtesy of Daniel Rosengren. The 5th row photo (Bagamoyo, 1-16) is courtesy of Per Holmen. The three lower photos were taken in Cairns (Australia, 11-13), courtesy of Paul Oliver.
