Mainly a coastal lowland species, the eastern bearded scrub-robin is found in central, eastern and southern Tanzania. The upper bird was seen at Darakuta Ranch; the third row (Mbuyuni) and the right 6th row (Fish Eagle Point) birds are courtesy of Per Holmen; the 2nd row ssp. greenwayi, was seen on Zanzibar, courtesy of Martijn Blok; it differs from the nominate by having a greyer back. The 4h and left 5th row photos (Mbuyuni Farm near Morogoro) are courtesy of Kim Axmann. The other photos were taken in the Kiru Valley.
