The Java Sparrow, also known as Java Finch, Java Rice Sparrow or Java Rice Bird is a small passerine, not native to Tanzania. It is a popular cagebird and has been introduced in a large number of countries. Sexes are alike. The photographs were all taken on Pemba island.
