The spot-throat or spot-throated modulatrix is endemic to the forests of the Eastern Arc mountains. The upper photo was taken in the Magamba Forest, courtesy of Per Holmen; the 2nd row, Magamba forest, courtesy Isaac Kilusu; the lower two photos and the some of the xeno-canto recordings were recorded in the Udzungwa Mountains by Dr. Louis A.
