Waller's starling is the smallest of the red-winged forest starlings and has red eyes in good light (poorly shown in these photos) and a short tail. The upper photo was taken in the Amani forest. The next four photos were taken at Ngordoto Crater rim in Arusha NP. The 4th row bird was at Nyumba ya Mungu, courtesy of Per Holmen. The others, including the juvenile, were taken in the Amani NR.
