The bronze sunbird is a highland bird found in forest, forest edge, cultivation and gardens. The head, neck and back may appear brown, green or black depending on the light. The nest was seen in Arusha NP (6-10). The top male was in the Aberdares-Kenya; the second row, Magahinaga NP-Uganda; and the right bottom, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest-Uganda, all courtesy of Karine Van der Vurst. The immature males were at Gibb's Farm ; female, at Simba Farm. The right 6th row photo (Meru Forest) is courtesy of Kileo Kipanga. The other photos were taken at Marangu and west Kilimanjaro.
