The alpine swift is large (22cm), brown above, white below with a brown breast band. Usually found at higher elevation, it can be seen at lower altitude during cooler weather. The left 4th row photo (Arusha NP, 1-21) is courtesy of Per Holmen. All of the other photos were taken in Tarangire NP (6-12).
