In western Tanzania the range of the African thrush overlaps with that of the mountain thrush (see respective maps). The upper and bottom birds were seen at Speke's Bay (11-20). The 2nd row bird was seen near Kibale NP (Uganda, 1-10); the middle bird, in the Kakamega Forest (Kenya, 2-12), both courtesy of Karine Van der Vurst.
