The garden warbler is a palearctic migrant in Tanzania from October to April. These photos were taken on the grounds of Mweka College of African Wildlife Management-Moshi by Philip Stouffer who noted: "quite a nondescript bird- the relatively stubby bill and large dark eye on a blank face are all there is to see. There seem to be good numbers...skulking around the bushes at Mweka in late March. They must be in passage at this point, as several were carrying a lot of fat.". |
