A small (10 cm) slender weaver, the little weaver is lemon yellow with a black face, brown eyes and a greenish cast to the back and tail. The upper immature male was seen in Queen Elisabeth NP-Uganda (1-23), courtesy of Karine Van der Vurst. The breeding male, gleaning insects, in the other photos was seen at Naabi Hill in the Serengeti (2-13). |
