Southern Brown-throated Weaver

The southern brown-throated weaver is occasionally seen in southern Tanzania in or near wet habitat. The upper male was seen near Mabamba Bay (95-18), courtesy pf Per Holmen. The female in the 2nd row photo was seen in the Okovango Delta, Botswana (9-10), courtesy of Mike Graham. The next three photos (Matema, 3-24) are courtesy of Fons Maex. The three other male photos were taken by Michael Poulsen (3-08) at Matema (Lake Nyasi) where hundreds of nests were seen.
