Individuals and pairs of African marsh harrier may be seen over wetlands throughout Tanzania. Their numbers however may be declining: click the 'read more' link. The top photo was taken near Songea (5-18), courtesy of Per Holmen. The 2nd row bird was seen in Ruaha (6-18); the 3rd row, South Serengeti (3-18); the left 4th row bird, Ngorongoro Crater (7-14); the right 4th row, in Yaida Valley (9-07); and the ffth row, Katavi (6-18).The six lower photos of the same bird were taken at the Big Marsh (Ndutu, 5-12).
