The European (also called the common, mountain or rufous-tailed) rock-thrush is a palearctic migrant in Tanzania from October to April. The top photo (Arusha, 12-22) is courtesy of Amos Pampy Hardecker. The males in the 2nd and 3rd row photos were seen in Oldonyo Sambu (3-23), Engikaret (left, 2-10) and Ngorongoro Crater (1-08); the 4th row females, at Minyonyo Springs (right, 11-08), courtesy of Ethan Kinsey, and Oldonyo Sambu (1-08); and the 5th row immatures, in Tarangire (2-12).
