The house sparrow was introduced into Africa from Europe and reached Tanzania from Zambia in 1984. The upper juvenile was seen in Morogoro (11-12), courtesy of Paul Oliver; the female and lower male, at Ngorongoro Farmhouse (2-17), courtesy of Karine Van der Vurst; the 3rd row male, at Wasso (3-08).
