The scarce swift is a uniformly brown-grey swift with a slightly lighter throat and a long tail, usually held closed, appearing narrow and pointed. It is found at higher elevations than the similar African palm swift. These photos were taken in Arusha NP (4-19), courtesy of Donyo Gabriel.
